Volunteers Make Us Tick

Parent volunteers support the classrooms, school, and The Farm environments. Each family is asked to commit 30 hours of volunteer time each year. We welcome, chaperons, cooks, carpenters, musicians, gardeners, event planners, parent coordinators, fundraisers, and computer gurus to name a few.

Leveraging Your Volunteerism

Did you know that many employers will match your parent volunteer hours with a cold, hard cash donation? Many employers sponsor a volunteer matching program to fiscally match your generous volunteer efforts, an easy way for volunteers to double or triple the impact of their service without having to take out their checkbooks. 

Parents' yearly volunteer hours could possibly be matched at their employers designated hourly rate. The Gates Foundation, Microsoft, and Aetna are among the many companies who value volunteerism in this way. Unsure if your employer offers this valuable program?
